Befahrung bei 7 Kubik, 1.4.2018
Der Wasserstand war grenzwertig (zu wenig Wasser mit 7 Kubik, Mindestpegel überarbeiten?). An vielen Stellen musste die Route durch die Steine angeschaut werden. Etwa im Mittelteil kann ein steckender Ast in der engen Linie gefährlich werden. Ein Wasserfall mit Steckgefahr wurde umtragen. dann gibt es noch eine extrem gefährliche Stelle, flussabwärts links zieht das Wasser in ein tödliches Syphon. auf der rechten Seite dagegen stürzt ein Wasserfall gegen die Wand (VI). Nur für Pros fahrbar. Umtragung rechts möglich, aber relativ aufwändig.
Gesamtbewertung: Geile schlucht, für die man sich viel zeit nehmen muss. wir würden erst ab 9 kubik wieder fahren.

On Saturday the 13th of January 2018, a french team went there and noticed the level was lower than expected (the river was expected to be at a middle flow level). The temperature was quite low, close to 0°C and there was snow. So I would guess that if you go there, check the Volane model but also check the temperature. If it is close to 0°C, the level could be lower than expected. Generally speaking, if you go there, take some good clothes because the weather can be very cold.

A paddler has confirmed that the indirect calibration was working on the 13 of May 2017 (the flow was medium, as expected on Rivermap)

Nice run on the 10/04/2016. Middle-Low level:
5.75m3/s in Vals on the Volane, 7.5m3/s in Meyras on the Ardèche.
We scouted three rapids: 2 rapids where class V (easy to carry on the right) and one is a class VI (carry on the right). One of us ran the full section without carrying.
A wonderful run in a remote area. This is a must!
