The Isel is closed due to construction work in the area of the city centre of Lienz.

The mandatory exit is before the entrance to the city, at the Cool's Rafting Centre.

In the city, wooden posts and pipes are installed in the construction site, which are life-threatening.

We started below Feld (and thus below the cataract) and kayaked to Ainet.

Die Befahrungsregel gilt von der Brücke bei Feld bis zur Mündung in die Drau.
Zur Befahrung der Isel darf nur beim Rafteinstieg oberhalb von Huben, an der Kalserbacheinmündung, an der Brücke in Ainet, in Lienz (Lienzwelle) und an der Tirolerbrücke in Lienz ein- bzw. ausgesetzt werden. Eine Befahrung ist nur vom 15.05.
bis 30.09. und nur von 9 bis 19 Uhr gestattet.
