All clear at ~6m3 throughput of the dam. No sticky holes in the main section, sometimes a little bony. We’d put it at medium level with these conditions. Second bridge is the better input.

The dam at the put-in has been completed and is now operational. See picture.
It's not 100% clear when the water is diverted: we put in at 5pm and the gates were open (all water flowing through) but when we got back up for a second run at 6.30pm the gates where closed with the water level being ~5cm less (still runnable but quite rocky)

Update: the first class V rapid is gone, but it's possible to park right before the landslide and at a roadsign saying that the road is closed. You can then hand carry the kayak down the muddy road and put in after the second, low-clearance bridge (the usual put in after the class V). The water level is good today and the river is clear (no debries, no dangerous stuff)

A previous note (in German) alerted about a dam being built at the put in and a landslide taking it down. This section has been run after the landslide occurred and it's reported as cleared. The new put in is, however, at the campsite below La Grave (some 500mt after the usual put in).
WARNING: the dam forming the lake at the take out is being opened and closed with no clear pattern. The lake may not be there when reaching the take out, with a rapid replacing it. Caution advised.
Ask the local rafting center for more info if in doubt.

Achtung! Am Einstieg wird momentan ein Wasserkraftwerk gebaut. Heute, den 06.08.2018 ist ein Erdrutsch mit einer Flutwelle vom Gletscher direkt in die Baustelle gerauscht und hat alles Zerstört! Es würde einiges an Eisenstangen und anderen Gegenständen weggespült. Diese befinden sich höchst wahrscheinlich verteilt in der Romanche! Daher wird momentan von einer Befahrung dringend abgeraten!!!
