Das "Ufficio dei corsi d’acqua" Tessin informiert uns, dass wegen Bauarbeiten bei Madonna del Piano der Fluss bis ca. 30. Juni nicht befahrbar sein wird.
Der Gruppo Canoisti Ticinesi informiert:
Eine Umtragung mitten in der Baustelle ist nicht möglich. Wenn jemand die letzte Ausstiegsstelle verpasst, gerät er in grosse Gefahr. Wenn du also bis Juni Kajak fahren willst, solltest du lieber einen anderen Fluss wählen.

L'Ufficio dei corsi d'acqua del Ticino ci informa che a causa di lavori di costruzione a Madonna del Piano il fiume non sarà navigabile fino al 30 giugno circa.
Il Gruppo Canoisti Ticinesi ci informa:
Non è possibile effettuare il trasferimento in mezzo al cantiere. Se qualcuno sbaglia l'ultimo punto di uscita, sarà in grave pericolo. Quindi, se si vuole fare kayak fino a giugno, è meglio scegliere un altro fiume.

It is not possible to transfer in the middle of the construction site. If someone misses the last exit point, they will be in great danger. So if you want to kayak until June, you should rather choose another river.

The tree is still there. It is before Ponte Cremenaga bridge. Two streams, on the left (smaller) is OK, while on the right the tree blocks the whole passage. It is dangerous. The rapid close to the tunnel has now a huge three locked in the middle over two rocks. The tree doesn't cross the river but the roots makes a dangerous syphon. Bette to have a view from the street before. The line to go is on the left and the difficulties are around III+ / IV grade. All the rest is easy with a few rapids where it could reach WW 2. Level 17 m3.

Kurz vor der Autobrücke liegt ein Baum quer, der etwas schwerlich umtragbar ist aber evtl auch passierbar bei 22 Kubik (unten durch). Auch nach dem Autotunnel sind WW III Stellen.
Der Ausstieg kann auch nach der Autobrücke am rechten Pfeiler über einen steilen aber kurzen Weg erfolgen. (Links halten, Kehrwasser links und Seilfähre zum rechten Pfeiler)

Regelmässige Strömung abwechslungsweise mit leichteren Schwällen, WW 2, auf fast der ganzen Strecke. Kurz vor dem Autotunnel nimmt das Gefälle etwas zu und die Schwierigkeiten steigen auf den letzten 400m auf WW3.
Es hat immer wieder Holz in Ufernähe, was bei uns aber absolut unkritisch war. Das könnte sich bei anderen Wasserständen natürlich verändern.
